Interactive Exhibits

3D Solar System3D Solar System. The Solar System is presented in three dimensional images. The students are asked to use 3D glasses to view the planets and see them in a whole new different light.

Loop PuzzleLoop Puzzle. This exhibit is a rope puzzle under Topology. Topology deals with properties of geometrical figures in a space that remains unaltered when the space is bent, twisted, stretched or deformed in any way.

Mirror of SymmetryMirror of Symmetry. This exhibit shows symmetry in mirror reflections. The human body is a perfect example of symmetry, when we bisect our body, what we have on the right side we also have on the left side. Mirror tricks are demonstrated here to further understand symmetry in mirror reflections.

Bubble RingsBubble Rings. This exhibit demonstrates surface tension, the strong attraction of water molecules. It is surface tension that allows a drop of water on a surface not to stretch out into a thin film. It always pulls as tightly as it can. Soap, however, reduces surface tension and allows a film of water to form.

Bubble RainbowBubble Rainbow. A soap film is actually a soap water sandwich with two outer layers of soap molecules surrounding a layer of soapy water. The beautiful color bands that you see in the soap films are caused by the interference patterns created when light reflects from these two surfaces.

Counterfeit Money DetectorCounterfeit Money Detector. This exhibit allows you to determine if the money is genuine or counterfeit. It uses an ultraviolet (UV) light to verify the fluorescent marks on bills, bank notes, and other legal documents. These marks emit visible light when activated by the UV light. We cannot see these marks under regular light.
